My 68 valiant (4 door) turns out to have a 727 behind my slant six. I didn't even know they made 727s for a slant six. Aparently it's out of a van.
I am wondering if I can keep this driveline for my bb swap????? The 8 3/4 I am going to use has the small carier.

I assume I will have to have the yoke on the rear changed to fit the new rear end but will the front fit a bb727 and hold for the extra power?

Sounds like it might be out of a 71 or later slant-equipped van. If it was a pre-70 A100, it would have an adapter to mate the van small block 727 to the slant, plus the trans would have had a really short tail shaft. Trans mounting in those vans was from the top instead of the bottom.

If it does have the adapter plate keep me in mind if you want to sell it. There will be an adapter for the crank also along with the bolts for both.
