How much should I be paying someone selling a complete L & R 10" SBP front drum brake setup which includes the hubs with wheel studs, backing plates, brand new brake cylinders and new hold down kits, new shoes, and the brake drums are NOS.

This kit is probably not available at the local parts store, its stainless steel. The performance shop doesn't stock it, but can order it and have made it clear that I need to determine the correct one as it is none returnable. After looking at some diagrams, I absolutely believe yourself and...

There's only one car in that link that has power brakes, its the red 1967 Barracuda fastback with the 383, all the rest are running manual brakes.

Its the same when your at a car show walking through the vendors selling parts, if you find something you like, you need to buy it while its in your hands, if you come back later it will be gone.

I put the front disc brake conversion kit with the small bolt pattern setup from SSBC on my 68 Barracuda and I needed to put on wheel spacers, because the steel rims were rubbing the calipe a bit. I'm running 14" x 6" on the front, other then that the kit is perfectly fine.

Did 68 Barracuda's with factory front disc brakes come with dust shields, and if yes will they mount on a disc brake brake conversion setup or is it better not to have them on at all to help ensure better airflow to keep the brakes running cooler. Thank you

You can't just pound the hell out of the front drums, otherwise you risk cracking the hub. Unfortunately alot of new drums require the existing hubs to be transfered across. Did the drums come with some instructions in the box, because there is a technic to use to help ensure the hubs don't get...
