Thanks C .....wondering how to get those washer clips back on was a big concern I had ...if it was possible or not. Do you think its the hinge or spring. ......or did you replace both? I have a friend that has the spring but ill have to find a hinge.

Ill check that out ....I didn't see anything when I looked the first time, but I wasn't looking specify looking for something like this ........ would the spring keep the hood from going down flush with the fender ?

At the last show i was at I started to shut my hood and when I pulled down on it I heard an extremely loud BAM like a gun going off .......afterwards my hood on drivers side will not shut flush with fender .......I have removed the splash panel to look at hinge and watched hood go up and down...

I kinda like that color also .....

I know its not an option ,,,,, but painted Mostly Gloss Black.. and Petty Blue go together really well.

Wait till you choose a color for the car and paint it that color ....... then your done with the engine bay.... then on to the next part of the car. never never never never never paint it black......... unless of course the car is going to be black. I Like the silver, and golds for that...

That's really a hard question..... I like all of them, I guess I'm a little hooked on the Dart DEMON, Dart SPORT style of DART's, but the 70-72's I guess would be my choice...... no the 67-69...... no the....... ahhh never mind..... I'm not gunna choose!!!

74 Dusterkid ya your car will look good with that scoop, all Duster, Demons and Darts and a few others look good with it, but thats just my thoughts. I even saw one on a Monte Carlo. I wanted to have a talk with that guy. LOL Have fun with your car, looks like your off to a good start...

Looks like the AAR company has the best ones according to some folks on this site. There are some very cool Dusters on this site with the scoop on there hoods.

Are you talking about the scoop? The hood is just a factory dart hood. (with factory scoop.) You can get the scoop aftermarket, not sure who has the best ones..... but the folks on this site can tell you.
