Short tires on the back of any a body visas don't look right to me. I've got 255-60-14 hoosiers and from most angles that big back window/slab sided area over powers the tires. That why I feel that the 68 SS b' cudas looked as good as any muscle car with those tall tires .

Had a B&M quicksilver. If I had to go back to an Automatic... I would get another quicksilver.

Are they all manufactured by the same company or are there superior ones? My DF centerforce throwout bearing is making noise already. We installed a new pilot bushing with the clutch setup., I will ck it also but I want to order the TO bearing before I pull the tranny. I can always send it back.

Just my 2 cents. I have the Centerforce dual friction setup. I have never had a clutch that locks up like this one! It puts the power to the pavement RIGHT NOW! Just my 2 cents.

love my centerforce dual friction! It locks up right now compared to my old (not that old) Ram Powergrip clutch setup.

Yeah 3:91's. You can still drive them around town no problem. Thats a 27 inch tall tire also. Try 25.5 inch tall tire with 4:56 gears....

I bought a new billet flywheel. I'm turning 6800 to7200 rpm's so got the wife to say ok. WHEW!

You can't really see anything other than how far it spun. You certainly can't move the ring gear! What a bummer cost me a chance to race and the cost for a new flywheel. Oh well.

Can anyone remember where they bought the e clips large enough to use for Z bar and clutch linkage? Supposedly the E clips worked much better than the old spring clips! Thanks again. Kevin

What do you consider high rpm's? This motor maybe run up to 7200 rpm's at most.

Should someone with avg welding skills know how to weld the ring gear to the flywheel? Isn't the ring gear cast iron and the flywheel steel? Will that be an issue? Thx. By the way, I have to pull the engine cause the scattershield is being a nightmare to unbolt. SLOW LONG BURN!!!!!!

I will be pulling my tranny and scattershield today. Heres my problem. How do you put the clutch fork into the clips on the throwout bearing with no inspection window? (scattershield completely solid). We dropped everything in together the 1st time. Should I cut a hole then reweld it? Maybe one...
