    Mystery part identification help

Yup, that's exactly it. My car already has it. I guess it came with the pedal assembly I used for the manual trans swap and I ended up with this extra bracket. Thanks for the help! Now I can use my spare bolts for my steering column brace cause I lost those too. LOL

Hmm, I did a brake booster upgrade and I don't seem to be missing anything. Still can't really figure where it would fit for the brake pedal/master area.

    Mystery part identification help

I’m assembling my 71 Demon and stumbled on to this. It’s been a few years since I disassembled the car so I can’t figure this out. Anyone know what part this is or where it goes?

Sux, hope you get it up and running soon. Driveshaft shops are usually readily available if not you might find a shop to simply ship to and have them cut to your specs.

Well it was a busy quarter at the shop as we went through some major changes (all for good) so things are clicking again and I’m getting back on the Demon build. Doing the wiring up now. As you can see I went with the Autometer setup and will be using FiTech so I am running all my wiring and...

Thank you. Starting to push as hard as time, family and business allows. Got the hydraulic clutch conversion done, fabbed my trans tunnel, cooling system is set. Just ordered seats, belts, and waiting on my Autometer cluster to come in as well. After that it would just be pending exhaust to get...

Though I haven't fired up the engine yet to be able to voice my opinion of their performance. but I will tell you this. The machining on these heads was excellent. Unported as cast port were very clean. I had no problems with any of the work on them. As a matter of fact my machinist whom I've...

Moving along, got fuel plumbing done, TTI Headers installed, those things are AWESOME, installed my 130 amp alternator, p/s pump and high pressure hose needed some fabbing but got it done. T56 swap is coming along too, needed 1” spacer to move release bearing collar closer towards the clutch and...

Thanks, it's from Aeromotive. It is pricier than other DIY kits from Tanksinc or others but I chose it because of the use of -AN fittings on the pump and the fact that it came pre-assembled, I have done the DIY kits and quite honestly I just wasn't in the mood for messing with it this time around.

T-56 swap crossmember fabrication complete! I think I came up with a noble approach. It easily bolts on/off. Plus my biggest issue was increasing rigidity at the torsion bar mounts. For that I felt it was best to fab a crossmember that bridged on top of the transmission to tie it all together. I...

Haha, the wheels are off a 65 mustang restoration job I did a few years ago. The rear fits well, could be tucked in more and the fronts are actually sticking out quite a bit you just can’t tell from the angle. Not decided on what wheel combo I’m going with yet.

Thanks man. It really is that way unfortunately. I got to pay bills and employees first. I have an ambitious goal of driving it before the end of the year. Let's see how far I get before I push to a corner again.

Another step forward. Transmission is mocked up at desired angle to begin fabrication of cross member, rear rails were notched and US Car Tool leaf spring relocation kit installed and sheet metal was cured, undercoated and painted. Rear axle and leaf springs assembled and installed. Finally...

Super cool build. I’m doing something similar but with a ‘78 Mustang II swapping in a 2013 3.7 for all the same reasons. Can’t wait to see you finish this!

Back on it. Got a little sidetracked with work. I want to get this one going before end of summer. Got a Moser 60 with 4.10 posi, Hotchkis monoleaf springs, PST front torsion bars, US CarTool spring relocation kit and I’ve cut the floor to find a solution to installing the T-56 and retaining the...

I also had to modify the K-member to clear the oil pan. I can not find the pictures but when I cut it open it was packed solid with oil soaked dirt. Looked like an archeological dig as you could see the different layers of soil. We decided to weigh it and after we emptied it of all the soil that...

Barely got back on it. Waiting on pushrods to get here next week to close up the engine and install it along with k member and front suspension and upgraded front disc brakes. After that I need to start fabwork for T56 swap. Thanks for asking.

It is paint code 8T7 (alt H). I did several spray outs of the PB5 and could not get the hue I was looking for. It was either too gray or purple. If you notice in one of the pics you can see the package tray (rear speaker panel) is still in the PB5 which looks purple.
