No more ethanol free gas in Canada?

Very true. Those are the only two symptoms I've experienced. I had to get a new diaphragm in one carb, and I had to replace the fuel hose coming off the sending unit, but that was on the car for well over a decade.

No more ethanol free gas in Canada?

They mix in a corrosion inhibitor to the final product, before it is shipped. I have a car that has run on 87 with corn juice and it sits with gas in the tank over the winter, and fires up with no issues every year. The only time I put Sta-bil in a tank, I had to clean the carb out the...

If it has GR03 stamped on it, throw it away, it will leak.

    Dual quads on 440

You'd be best to simply clean the carbs, and get new gaskets and plungers.

What's the best electric fuel pump for carburetor?

I have a who knows what brand pump that has been installed since before I got the car. Works fine, I wait to hear the pump quiet down after the fuel reaches the carb, and hit the pedal a few times before cranking it over and it fires right up. Ghetto as hell, way up on the frame rail.

Brand new 3/8 fuel line bent in two on delivery

That's a different sort of logistics. You weren't getting parts one at a time, where you?

Brand new 3/8 fuel line bent in two on delivery

Brake lines come the same way. You can straighten it, just be patient while doing so. It's really not that hard. By the tread title, I thought I was kinked in half. You'll be fine.

I have the base, and those hoses. Need the top. Hoses were a pay it forward item.

Anyone Ever Run One Of These

Wondering if anyone has any experience running this setup: I picked this up for my Dart. It will be a while before I build an engine accordingly to match it. I would like to set it up for street/strip use. I realize the way it is now is for performanc/drag racing. I also know I'd be better off...

Anyone ever use an Edelbrock STR-14-4?

That's kind of what I figured. I'm going to build a 500ci stroker for the 6pac top, but that is a ways off. Still gonna try to make it work.

Anyone ever use an Edelbrock STR-14-4?

I'm building a mild 440 to throw in my Dart and was planning on using my Edelbrock STR-14-4 intake, mostly for the wow factor. I'm using a 77 block, so it'll be low compression. I'm thinking of using a .509 can or something like that. I realize that I'm basically putting a tunnel ram intake on...

Does a car need a PVC valve?

I didn't use my pcv valve on my last 440 and it pissed oil out of everywhere, even the distributor was leaking. The engine was bad, but not having the pcv valve not hooked up sure didn't help. I use it now!

    STR Intake gasket

Anyone know where to get a gasket for my STR-14 intake manifold? I'm referring to the gasket that goes between the top (4 barrel, 6 Pac, etc) and the bottom. Any help would be appreciated. Scott

    eddy 650 or 750

750, either edelbrock or Holley. Better to go bigger, it will only use what fuel it needs (after it's tuned) even though it can provide more. I have run a dp that came with my car until I swapped engines, then went with eddy. Both provide about the same results. Check with snap-on to see if...
