Thanks! That's good advice about making sure the body is straight. How often do folks find their cars to be bent or out of square? Mine had superficial damage to one fender (which was replaced 20 years ago) but no signs of accidents otherwise. I really hope that nothing bad turns up!

Rota RKR. They just don't make them in 15x7. I tried to pick an offset that would clear the fender for the front...which it did but as I was warned, 15x8" wide wheels are also likely to contact the control arm...which they do, even with a spacer.

Guys, Is anyone aware of a local welder who can modify aluminum wheels? I need to take a bit of metal out of a set of 15x8s to run on the front...looks like the going price for a job like this isn't cheap...hoping to at least avoid shipping and it's always best to support local businesses, IMO.

The Firebird club has a show at Panera on every-other Saturday. The first one was 5/20...some pretty nice machines there. So you guys who avoid the Turnpike, where else do you go for your car-hangout fix?

What's the situation this year, guys? Has the action started picking up yet? This weekend looks like it might set things back a bit (assuming they treat the roads again) but last weekend was mild and clear...I wanted to get down there so badly!
