Alignment - it can't be done?

Yup... This is great advice on how to make your car totally drive-able on the cheap and very close to proper alignment in most cases. I did my '78 Street van this way a couple of years ago after putting new wheels and tires on it, and it drives so good that I never bothered to take it in to be...

    PST 1.03 Bars

Well, Here's a photo of mine from yesterday. I had installed the 1.03 torsion bars with the LCAs hanging down and in this photo, the adjusters are all the way loose. The rear has brand new ESPO plus 1 inch 6 leaf springs in it and the tires are 295/50/15, 26" tall. I think it sits a little high...

    PST 1.03 Bars

Whatever the final outcome is, I would like to see the proper method for installing these listed here in this thread before it fizzles out. I have my new set of torsion bars in the car now but it's still up on jack stands and I would like to make sure it's correctly installed sooner rather than...

Hi-Quality XRF brand Idler Arms at closeout prices (Limited Quantity)

I heard that they use those same numbers as an easy cross-reference to find what you need. I built my entire front end from the XRF parts and they really look like nice, quality parts. The castings are different compared to moog

Lower control arm outer bushing shell removal frustration...

Well, I just completed replacing the bushings in my lower control arm. I followed the instructions from this article in HOT ROD MAGAZINE online and it went flawlessly. The only thing I did differently from the article was that instead of welding the washer to the bushing shell, I inserted the...

    Moog - I've lost confidence

I order all new XRF Parts for my Barracuda after lots of research and seeing so many FAILED MOOG PARTS (some resulting in bad accidents), but haven't installed them yet. The quality looks top-notch! They use the same #s as Moog, just preceded with "XRF". XRF Chassis | Automotive and Heavy Duty...

DANGEROUS PRODUCT = Moog Ball Joints

As far as the XRF Lower Ball Joints for 67-72 A body goes, MIbearings.com no longer stocks them and they called XRF today, who said they no longer plan to make them. I am however ordering the rest of my steering parts from them today. Hoping I can find some good lowers for my car and avoid the...

I think it's the second one down on the page. GM/pinto...3/4" smooth on one end to weld to the steering shaft and 36 teeth on the steering box end. But check the number of teeth on your steering box to be sure!

OK, how about some links to the Bilstein shocks for A bodies... Need something new for my 67 but seems like there is a sea of choices. Don't wanna just take a stab in the dark if I can avoid it :) Want something for mainly road driving, performance oriented though.
