    1968 barracuda fastback rear fan?

I have worked on hundreds of these Barracuda's and have never seen this accessary. In 1968 everything was an option, so this one is rare. This was operated by a switch on the lower edge of the dash.

    Factory door moldings or not

I installed a couple of these at the dealership back in the day. If these are aftermarket, you out of luck.

Bob's Component Resto, Part 32: The Wiper Motor

As an old mechanic, I love a really clean engine bay, but the single sexiest thing under the hood is a restored wiper motor.

    Annoying 727

Toque convertor draining during rest. It is common for these units to drain some fluid from the torque convertor into the pan during non-op. Basically the convertor will be low on oil. Upon engaging a drive gear there will be a hesitation until the convertor first fills with oil to allow and...

    1967 dart 270 hodge podge

As expected, your 50yr old car has had modifications for unknown reasons. When building a car it is best to have a clear vision of what you want to end up with. Will it be a restoration, a cruiser, a hot rod, or something in between? Build it your way, have fun, but have your end goal in mind...

Congrats! You will learn a lot of various skills as you progress. Most things I have learned have been through mistakes, but at least I tried and learned. Keep us posted on the progress.

Is this forum For A Bodies Only Restorations?

While we may favor "A" bodies, most of us own/have owned and worked on many cars/Mopars. There is a wealth of mechanical experience here by guys that are willing to share it (inter-laced with a dubious sense of humor). It won't hurt to just ask a question.

Welcome to FABO. You have some skills! As a side note I would recommend determining what class you expect to run in and become familiar with it's requirements, then you will not over-build the car or under build. What are others in your class running? As for the mechanics of it- we can help.

    My fun cruiser- '70 Swinger

Nice car! Looks like battery hold down is missing. Batteries have been known to roll off the tray and into the fan. Replace with stock parts. On any -new to me car- I always change all the fluids, check/inspect tune-up parts/timing, pull all four wheels to inspect brakes/tires/suspension. Check...

To build or not to build (meaning sell)

You have the same disease I have, we see the potential in every car that comes our way. "If I had that car , I would do this and that and it would look great!" STOP COLLECTING CARS! Backup and concentrate on the few cars you like best. Just my two cents.

    Front end rebuild

Mark your torsion bars upon removal- left & right, front & rear- so rotation doesn't change upon re-assembly. Torsion bar?- can be done w/o any cutting. I used urethane bushings on the control arms but didn't like them on the strut arms, so went with rubber on them. Good luck.

    Audrey's 1965 Barracuda project

That panel is the "floor" in the back. Don't see any need to remove undercoating unless you are planning a concours restoration. As you assemble front end use new parts, otherwise I would recommend just assemble the car with what you got and think about improvements later. We can help with your...
