I needed a rear sump for the clearance of the after market k-frame. If that's what you mean. Also I do not recommend using a Charlie oil pan. Bad customer service

Charlie oil pans were very, very difficult do deal with and wouldn't tell me what the capacity rating is or even the size of the pan. Would not recommend buying a oil pan of them after my experience. Measured the dimensions of the pan and it came out to 11odd qts Ended up putting in 8.5L (9qts)...

In the end I just bought a stock 440 dip stick and fitted that. Filled the engine to the full mark and swapped the Milodon dip stick back in and marked it where the oil was. Haven't starter the engine yet, still a few weeks/ months away so fingers crossed.

Hey mate, I have a 440 with a Charlie oil pan on it, due to using an alterkation front end. By any chance do you know how much oil to put in the engine with that oil pan. The milodon 22070 dip stick I have doesn't have any markings on it. Cheers

they said it all depends on what the engine builder wants. I would of thought no matter how big the sump is the fill mark would be the same? Any other suggestions?

Hi, I have a 440 and I have changed the engine oil dip stick to a Milodon 22070 (lost the one that come with it). Since fitting the engine to my 74 dart I have had to change the sump to a Charlie oil pan due to having an alterkation front end. I have only just noticed the Milodon dip stick...
