    Shroud 2828288

Some point and time the wrong information was posted on the net. He most likely is just throwing information on the ad that he probably found in a search and really has no idea what he is selling. Being an knowledgeable buyer is important when buying parts.

    Shroud 2828288

That isn't correct. 2998328 is the V8 fan shroud part number for the 70 to 73 Barracuda/Cuda/Challenger 22" radiators. It isn't a good number for our A-bodies either.

    New cooling system, still overheating.

I would pull all the spark plugs, drain the cooling system and then do a compression test to see if I could find out what cylinder(s) is/are affected.

    New cooling system, still overheating.

Basically all over. Radiator hose, both upper and lower. Radiator in different spots. Water pump. Intake. Thermostat housing. Engine block and heads in different spots. What you are looking for is how much variation there is. Say the intake is really hot and the upper radiator hose is, really...

    New cooling system, still overheating.

Is it overheating because you are seeing it on the gauge or is it spewing? If you are relying on a gauge then invest in an infrared heat gun and take some actual temperature readings in different locations. If it is actually overheating then also look at the fan clutch if it has one.

Correct Water Pump for Early 273 w/ AC

I have gotten my re-manufactured pumps at Oreillys and so far they have been correct. I am thinking I might need to pick up a couple of spares before those new crap Gates castings start end up on the re-manufacturing process.

Correct Water Pump for Early 273 w/ AC

Yes, what you have is casting that doesn't match the original. The eBay water pump is listed as a 68 and 69 because of the casting number. Frank can sell it at a premium by listing it that way. Here is the same pump listed with your car included. I didn't show you it to start with because the...

    Overflow bottle

The 72 back never used a factory overflow bottle. If the 73 up will fit you will have to drill a hole for the nub on the bottom to fit in to. If I recall correctly that hole is in the frame rail. If you get a 73 up bottle make sure you get the metal mounting bracket with it. You will also...
