I have ran in to it when the tank couldn't get enough air at a high rate of fuel consumption. First it would start running poor and then die but as soon as it sat a few minutes it would run again. Popped the fuel cap off, it sucked in a whoosh of air and ran fine afterwards.

Sounds like you might be getting a vapor lock. Is your fuel tank vent plugged?

Be sure and get fuel line that is Ethanol compatible.

Check the rubber line between the tank and the steel line on the car for cracks as well as the sock in the tank. If your filter was "full to the brim" than there is a problem somewhere that needs to be corrected.

First thing I would check. I had a hose between the tank and the body with cracks in it which made it suck air with the fuel. New hose and it was fixed. Check all the rubber gas lines.

The BWD 10634C is the only kit that is specific to the VIN W. The other kit is more generic from what I can tell.

67 and 68 has the swirl polished center and 69 has the black with the fuel on it. No trim rings are used on the Barracuda. The trim ring was for a B-Body that also used the same caps as the A-Body. 67 and 68 69

I haven't seen a 1/2" with a 3/8" return line but there are 1/2" with no return lines available. Could it be the return line is on one of the tank ports?
