Cheap alternative to pricey flat tappet oil in street cars...

If you had enough friends in the area that wanted some, you could get together and order the $304.40 14 pk of the 8oz. bottles of Cam-shield to get a good price. If I figured it correctly it would be about 6 cents an oz. higher than the single 64oz. bottle.

checking for cracked head or bad head gasket..

There will always be water left in the intake because you can't drain it completely so your answer in NO that will not tell you. You already have water/oil mix in your your whole engine since you stated you found it in the heads. That also means you have water in your oil pump, cam bearings...

checking for cracked head or bad head gasket..

Many times don't get bubbling water in the radiator. That generaly happens when you have a cracked head. If you have done this 4 times based on what I just read I think it might be time to dig deeper into it. If it is a machining issue then you need to find out what you need to replace.

Yes, I agree. Do it right and do it once, do it half way and do it twice. You noted water coming from several different places. Doing it half way could result in a new engine. You need to get completely to the bottom of this.

You need another person to crank over the car while you are looking at the spark plug holes to see if any water is coming from there. If you see any signs of water from the plug holes they you need to pull that head and the intake. From the sounds of it you really need to pull the engine...

Looks like water to me. It just doesn't have enough in it yet to totally turn since you have just changed the oil.

You will have to address all the leaks and retest until you can hold at least 16 pounds.

I would drain the oil in a clean pan and take a closer look at it. I have seen some condensation happen in the dip stick tube and the oil be clear when it was drained. Let the oil set for a while and look at it again. Since you haven't ran the engine much since the oil change you may be seeing...

I wouldn't want you working on my car if you have no more common sense to make a less than intelligent reply than this. 19 years old and ................................. The least intelligent person I know is a very well educated person.

checking for cracked head or bad head gasket..

Exactly. I chased a seep years ago and had trouble finding it. An old timer asked if I removed the spark plugs to do the test and I hadn't. I removed them, redid the test and solved the problem. The result was the compression that was in the cylinder wasn't allowing the seep to show up. It...
