    How to 360?

They are hard to beat, and I like the original aftermarket vibe of them as well. Lots of cool factor! and the weight savings is more than substantial. I recently sold my T/A motor to a restoration shop on the west coast, so I am sans motor in my Demon. I've got a great '71 to build, but I'm in...

    How to 360?

Got a brand new one still in the box...I'll keep you in mind if I go back to a 6-pack. To quote Direct Connection, "all the '71-'75, 340-360 intake manifolds for the Carter Thermo-Quad carburetors are excellent designs, and are very difficult to improve upon. The LD-340 offers only a slight...

    How to 360?

If I were you, I'd sell the LD340, and pick up a '73 stock TQ intake. Your buget will improve, and you won't loose performance wise. Your 650 double pump will work fine. I think there's a little more to it than that...The 360 is a truck motor. The 340 was never anything but a quasi-race motor...never had a two barrel, always had a double roller chain, ect. The T/A was based on the 340. The X blocks were based on the 340, and that was back when the 360 was taking...

    360 build or 340???

Mopar Performance/Direct Connection has an entire line of crate motors based on their 340 replacement block. They also have a siamese 340 block that is available stroked up to 440". The 360 crate motors don't come anywhere near these in performance or potential.

Huh? What does this post mean? Why would anyone get pissed off about a A-body motor?
