What have you replaced in the ignition system? Plugs, wires, EI box,. How about the fuel system? Filter, carb. How are the fuel lines routed to the carb? Keep them away from the engine.

Yep....that's what I meant. I went with the stacked gaskets. Also got my hood pins installed. What do you think?

Instead of removing and grinding the intake I am going to double stack gaskets. Thanks for the help.

OK, got my new intake installed. We also replaced the valve cover gaskets. Now the right bank is leaking at rear. I've replaced the (cork) gaskets two times and it still leaks at the same location. Looking for a soultion. Thanks in advance.
