Yow! I never thought about the windshield gasket being different. I'll need to explore that. It wouldn't be any fun at all finding out my new gasket didn't fit when I'm trying to re-install the windshield & the new headliner.

I'm beginning to put this '66 back together. I bought it in pieces, so I didn't take it apart, but I believe everything is there in terms of the metal trim. The actual vinyl section is long gone, so I'm starting from scratch on that. Does anyone have a diagram that shows how a '66 vinyl top...

I believe this type of stripe had (has?) something to do with road racing. Maybe a rookie driver or something like that.....Not my cup o' tea, but to each his own.

I bought the tires (they looked like new) on a set of Cragar s/s wheels over 10 years ago. They (tires and wheels) looked nearly new at the time & the tread still looks good (on the 3 remaining tires)...no sign of aging - at least nothing I can see. I believe the age, EXTREME heat (over 90)...
