anyone put there convertible on a rotisserie?

Mine was fine and I didn't brace anything. All the weight was out of it and it seemed like a lot less stress than jacking up an assembled loaded car with a bumper jack. I did get my replacement floor welded in before the car went onto the rotisserie. When I test fit the doors, fenders and...

    65 Dart Hood emblem

If the OP doesn't respond I might be interested. I have one with nice chrome on the outside. But the inside chrome isn't so nice. Also, are you still planning to have your car at Carlisle this summer? My parents live in Carlisle and I'm thinking about coming to see your car (and my parents).

    Windshield Interior Plastic Trim

This picture shows a piece of plastic trim from the bottom edge of the windshield on my 65 Dart Convertible. It locks into a groove in the windshield gasket. It looks like it's shrunk and cracked and it's also discolored. Does anyone know what this piece is called or where to get a new one?

Convertible top cylinder brackets for 1964 Dodge Dart?

I transferred my existing ones from the old floor pan to the new floor pan. I doubt they are being reproduced. You could post in the Parts Wanted forum or you could fab something up.

Do you mean the brackets that are welded to the floor? If so, here are some pictures. http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showpost.php?p=1969548169&postcount=13 http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showpost.php?p=1969550491&postcount=16

Early A Hold Down Latches- Replating?

I know this is an old thread. Hope this helps somebody. I took mine apart. You just drive the pins out with a drift punch, but be carefull to support the inner tabs before you start driving. I used a nut that was just the right height to slide in there. The nut transfers the force from...

    Love this car !!!!!

I love the shape of the early darts, especially the baby fins on the back. I also like that you don't see them very often. I went to the car show at Edelbrock this past weekend. Not a single early A-body.

    Convertible Speaker locations

It's going to be a tight fit on the 65 too. There is actually only 5-1/8" of width, but the 5-1/4" speakers I've measured are actually less than 5-1/4". I think I could stick some shims behind the side panels at the bottom. I don't think the speaker grills are going to fit without some trimming.

    Convertible Speaker locations

I did a test of my idea to see what kind of sound I would get out of speakers down behind the convertible side panels. I used a pair of PC speakers (Harmon Kardon HK109 that came with a Dell PC I bought back in the 90's) connected to my daughters iPod. I had them playing and then I...

Mine has speakers in the doors now. The previous owner cut the chrome strip between the carpet and the vinyl on the door panels and now the front sections won't stay on. I have another pair of chrome strips so I can put the doors back to original. I'll make some custom kick panels for the...

    Convertible Speaker locations

I had an idea for how to get some sound in the back seat area. The front is easily solved with some custom kick panels. But the back is the problem. It occurred to me that I could make some custom speaker boxes that fit the area at the bottom, behind the convertible side panels with the...

I have the same question. 65 dart convertible and wondering where to put the speakers. Kick panels seem like an obvious choice but I can't find any off the shelf for a 65. Looks like I'll have to get creative with some fiberglass. Did you mount the tweeters in the center, where the stock...
