About to yank a 5.9 out of 1989 dodge D250 truck. What do I need to make sure and get with the engine ( any sensors or puters?) for use in a 72 duster? Its not my truck so I need to grab the engine and whatever else is needed before the truck goes to scrap.- Princess Valiant

ODBI or ODBII
a 96 should have OBDII you can tell by the plug ...they standardized the plug when they went to OBDII as a federal mandate. OBDII is a huge advantage over the system before it because OBDII has live data stream so you can see the computer in opration as the engine is running and a snap-on...- Princess Valiant
