I have noticed....alot of emblems are held on with a rubber/plastic sleeve over the pins, but some I have seen have metal push on clips....dunno, just wanted to point that out. I have a 1974 Duster as well....and all the emblems, need to go back on

I like Black...so I have to say Yes. But IMO you would just need to keep it sane...and not go too crazy with the Cross-Theme thing. Brillant Black Metallic, and similiar striping and accents would definetly be cool. All of my vehicles are Black...its my favorite color...besides...

Looks Great. I love that scoop on Dusters/Dart Sports.....its my Fav. I want the dual snorkel scoop, AND a Go-Wing on my 74 Duster that I will be painting Black, and adding a Black 72' style side stripe too...should look Killer.

I think it would just be easier and more cost effective to buy one, and measure out all the dimensions, think about the stripe idea that you have, research pricing on work such as that, then #-oand just have it done or/install the stripe and be happy. If I had the dimensions I would hook you...

Hey Hey! I just witnessed the Trim Removal Trick a few days ago! If you have the trim removal tool (Arrow shaped tool with handle), it should be pretty easy. The trim is locked into the clips on the outsides of the window channel....position the arrow head into the trim and slide it along...

Man Longgone...that sure does look nice. My dad bought a GG1 1969 Dart Swinger 340 4-speed brand new in September 1969....his had a White bumble bee Swinger stripe....But I just felt compelled to tell you ...I think your GTS looks better than his Swinger!!!

I have a 1970 Hood with a Aftermarket 6-Pack scoop grafted onto it at home that I can take a picture of...but it does not look that good IMHO. What are your plans for your Dual Scoops?

I am not the absolute most knowledgable on Mopars' but I can't think of a Steel Hoodscoop OEM on ANY Mopar I know of. Plenty of Fiberglass and ABS Plastic scoops though... Finding a NOS Hood Scoop is near impossible. Find a Internet For Sale Ad for one is getting harder. And scoring any...

Are you replacing the top or just painting it? I would imagine a Rough Grit paper at first, followed by Finer and Finer Paper, until desired texture....:cheers:
