The tops and bottoms of the inside of the doors would have been gloss TX9 black originally. The dash would have been a matte/flat black, I believe the factory used a suede paint.

I did the same exact thing to the rear seat in my '72 Demon. My seat was also originally tan/buck skin and had the hidden blue area on it too.

I cleaned all my parts with warm water and dawn dish soap. Then I wiped down with surface prep before spraying.

My Demon has the seat belt light, it's build date is April '72.

I used Herbs interior paint on my '73 Power Wagon interior with excellent results!!! I will definitely use it again. The steering wheel was also done and it hasn't worn at all and it was done over a year ago.

Any reputable hardware store should have them. I think the last ones I bought I found at Lowes.

I am looking to buy a molded carpet and the console carpet strips for my '72 Demon. What does everyone recomend as far as quality and price? I want the original 80/20 loop style.

I have had excellent results with SEM interior paint.

Another thing to look out for on the factory adapters, is that for a car there is one wide spline (master spline) so that it only goes on one way. Tuff wheels came on 4x4 Warlock, and Macho Power Wagon trucks, and there adapters don't have the wide spline and will not fit a car.

I agree, I would get a factory Tuff/Rimblow wheel adapter.

To answer a few of your questions: They are original door panels (correct for your car) and are vinyl. As far as re-attaching the loose edges I have used exterior body molding/emblem glue with good results.

Nope, no one is repo. the plastic door emblems. You can pry them off from the front, but risk breaking the clips off. It is safer to remove the door panel and push them out form the back.

Yes, there are bolts along the top of the dash frame that are under the windshield gasket.

Any A-body dash from 67-76 can be swapped among each other. The 68-69 Barracuda dash will have the ignition switch in the dash, were the 70-71 Duster has it in the column though.

Nope, they wont work. You will need panels from a 73-76. Or you would have to put 70-72 Duster or 71-72 Demon doors on your car to use the panels you got. Not only are the door handles in a different location, the 73-76 doors have the plastic trim on the top. The 70-72 doors are metal...

I think it would be easier to swap in a 67-69 Barracuda dash frame. That way you can have the rallye dash and still retain your ignition switch in the dash.

I agree with the above post, '69 is when the woodgrain knob started.

The front door panels are the same, but the rear panels are different.

It will bolt in any 67-76 A-body car.
