The Beaver Hole Hardwood Company Begins

Miss Kitty did dress much like a madam. I seem to recall a few scenes where she hired and/or directed other girls, seemingly as her employees. I think I remember too when she bought the place (haven't watched an episode for several years). That money had to come from somewhere. Matt surely got...

IF THIS TRAILERS ROCKING DON"T COME KNOCKING There's yer sign. Maybe you could make one of them rock? When reading a previous post I saw, "one wire whose" and my old brain went to "woose" like a toddler might pronounce "loose". LOL The one trailer has a picture window. You got to have at...

The Beaver Hole Hardwood Company Begins

At only one cup of coffee in, I can't think of a dang thing that don't look awful in earliest/embryotic stages. Your workbench looks like homemade from the red dirt I try to grow a lawn in. LOL

The brainiac who mathematically proves our air conditioning is a major contributor to global warming will surely be in a comfortable air-conditioned room while doing the work LOL

The Beaver Hole Hardwood Company Begins

There is a guy who lives between me and town who has a small mountain in a building with multiple size trains and tracks from table level to top. Some of the Swiss and German train cars he showed me we extremely small and very intricate. He has a restored steam powered ride on for kiddys on his...

    No bloody A.B.C or D

We didn't have LEDs when that model was first designed. I built one too years ago. Today we have them almost as small as a grain of salt. I would like to light up an Enterprize but the saucer section is too thin. Nowhere near enough windows.

    JIM BEAM CHALLENGER WHISKY BOTTLES

As fate would have it, I'm in the middle of a somewhat related project. LED lights inside Crown Royal bottles ( I have far to many empties these days ), and a flickering flame on the top of the cap. Those bits taken from the battery powered Tea Lights. All materials dirt cheap at Dollar Tree...

I was looking at the 68 when he was at Commerce GA. I said, "Thats a chevy truck molding". He said, "Good eye" and walked away.

    CARRERA SLOT CAR TRACK

In scrolling from bottom up , my 1st thought was "a guy peeing on the wall". 2nd thought, "Wonder why there's a dot hiding his face?" Then I read he's tagging the wall. His identity withheld? LOL

    Convertible boot

I think a single piece of vinyl would look too add on. I would have to atleast attempt to whittle from a donor piece of plastic. Right now I'm looking at several possible donors on this Toshiba laptop.

    Casting semi clear parts

One 2 part epoxy will cure a bit more rigid than another but... it is what it is. I get fairly good results from Easy Cast 2 part acrylic. I'm thinking the 1/16th thickness is your biggest problem. Either increase the thickness of the part or incorporate ribs or a more substantial rim at...

    Plastic Models Kits..?

Actually Revell did offer a 2nd gen notch back ( 68 I think ). That is one of the more valuable vintage models today. I've kicked myself a hundred times for not paying 35.00 for one when I had the chance. That was unopened and 1991 .

Building an AMT '69 Barracuda model, need some help

Seems to me its getting over complicated for a 5 yr old. You might consider some generic models for his "hands on" experience. Once he can read there are books on model building techniques. My very first model (Batmobile) at age 7 , turned out horrible. By the age of 12 cousins and I were...
