Title says it all, my dad is trying to find a diagram or a thread that shows a step by step of the procedure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Caught this bearing early.

No kidding, You need some corn grease or some pink runny grease for that. I thought mine were making noise, after testing the tires and having them check out I realized it was my speedometer cable, needless to say I ripped that out of my non-functional dash real quick.

    8 3/4 anyone?!

You could go to a scrap yard and pull one for about 100 bucks, but then you will spend about 800 to get it ready for your car.

    A 440 A-Body... that can handle?

Better have fiber glass panels/bumper up front to ditch some weight, I would also throw in a roll bar at least. Could he mount the battery in the passenger side floor board? Are you building a street rod or some sort of track car?

how long have you owned the car? could someone have built a rocket out of it in the past? Guys would offset the front tires so when they drag race, they cross the laser with the left tire, and the barely noticeable offset would buy them a few fractions of a second off of the start. read about...

    74 duster bad frame

you could always put the car on a lift, just the body and frame. Then jack the car up from underneath and put blocks on the outer edges of the floor pan, disconnect and replace, or better yet, replace, add in cage and subframe. H or X pattern.

What is themost cost effective way to fix my rear suspension?

check the shock mount plates, if your car was treated bad before you got it, the shocks could be running into your trunk, hence the sag. That would be very easy to fix, other than that, I couldnt tell you anything other than what Cuda34067 said.
