Anyone know where to get a plastic float for a Holley 1920? I am eventually going to convert to a 2bbl set up but I don't have the money to finish that at the moment and I am currently rebuilding the 1 barrel. The float has a deep crack in it, so if I cannot replace it, is there a way to fix it?

If I recall the Holley 2280 flows at 350 cfm. The carter bbd is pretty much the same thing. I was also looking into a 2300 but idk how efficient that would be.

What would be the best 2bbl carb. on a 225 @ .30 over with a 904 trans. and a stock rear end. Should I run 350 cfm or is that to much?

Could this be a carb problem?

Forgot to mention, make sure your gas tank is really dry before you put it back in and put gasoline in the tank. What kind of car do you have? Someone might have a gas cap for you on here. It is better to lose time and thirty bucks in gas, than it is to lose an engine as well as the other option.

Do not start the car.. Drop the tank and toss the gas because it is now bad.. Flush tank with water for a while.. and flush the filler neck or w.e you call it for a while and get it good and clean.. then put everything back in.
