    Have you found the one on Dashman? They have 1/4 inch spacers for 30.00 made for the holley 2300. But states that it will fit other carb. models.

    I am in the same boat, the problem is not the linkage, it is that you have to fabricate the part that hooks onto the linkage at the carb end. What you pay is what you get. If you do purchase an aftermarket part, go Lokar.

    I am not aiming to build a super six, just trying to get away from the sluggish 1bbl and not move into a 4bbl. Everything I find is 300.00 and shipping is going to be terrible, then add flanges, exhaust and the carb.. not looking cheap.

    The 1920/1945 holley 1bbl carb on my car is not going to last much longer and just flat sucks, so instead of fixing that, I think I want to move up to a 2bbl. Anyone know where to find these for a reasonable price? Also what carb should I run on it if my 225 is .30 over with a milled head...

    Also you would want to bore out your block if you were to change to those pistons, but you would be dropping some serious change to do that.

    K1 rods, domed pistons or KB pistons, milled or ported head 4bbl intake and carb. and dual exhaust. With your budget, you could get away with some 198 rods and a cam, possibly catch a 2bbl or 4bbl intake at a deal.

    You might look into 198 rods or K1? rods as well. I do not remember if that is the correct name. Look up SlantsixDan. He knows EVERYTHING about slant six engines. Bore the block and put in a decent set of pistons. After the engine is squared away, the rear would be the weak link.

    Slantsixdan is right about the airflow, mine ran hot for a while and I found the problem to be a gasket in the middle of a Chinese built POS!!! carb. When I went to the parts store they said that they could not stand behind it and they did not sell, nor could they find the gasket online.. so...

    I rebuilt my 225, bored it .30 over and milled the head a little so I could get some moving a little easier and not be a slug at stop lights. I drove 110 miles on one tank of gas so how ever big the gas tank is divided by 110 is what I get with a stock and untouched 904.

    How do you know when an auto 904 tranny is going out? I start my car and it runs great, I switch into gear and it dies, when I give it gas it will move, but when I go from reverse to drive, it dies..

    K1 rods or 198 rods, dome pistons, bore the block a pretty good size, ported head, milled head, 4bbl intake, 4bbl electric fuel injection then a nice forged cam. and crank, push rods, etc... decent exhaust and maybe some spray. 500 hp out of the motor is not the same as 500 hp out of the car...

    What carb should I put on my one bbl intake? It has a holley on it now, but its a piece of **** so I dont want to waste my time with a rebuild kit.

    It is not the fuel filter, the spacer below the carb is torn, so gas is leaking out on my intake, I plan on going to a four barrel soon anyways so I guess it can sit a month till I have everything taken car of.
