Will an A body V8 k-frame hold a big block motor? as in a 383rb block?

383 stroker to 438(431?) seen it both ways. Anyways if you do a stroker go through 440 source. You can put 2500 in a 383 and keep it a 383 or put the same amount into it as a stroker and get more out of it. its up to you.

After buying a 360 and a few parts for the motor, a good friend talked me into building a 431. He said I would spend the same amount and get more out of the 383 than I would the 360. My questions are what is a fair price for a 383 block, should I go with a long block or not, what cam and crank...

I found a 70 date code 440 with 727 in a mobile home. just over 600 origional miles on motor. I was told 400 for the set.

I am buying a 70 date code on a 440 big block and a 727 both stock out of a mobile home, the tacometer says 646 miles. This was sitting in storage for a long time, how much is this worth?
