I really don't want one it's the stupid choke cables that are the problem. They just buckle ...even under the choke spring pressure

Hi everybody: Is there any manufacturer that makes a good manual choke cable that doesn't bind. Meaning every time you want to push the choke off you have to take the air cleaner off and pull on the cable at the carb. They are the ones you buy at lordco..Pretty cheap looking.

Found this pic in the shop manual. Looks like there is a small hole in the rubber trunk seal and the vent goes above the tank

Well I see his point now..I'm the idiot in this one because I thought it was perfectly fine to have the filler tube vent end in the trunk of the car. That's what he was commenting on.

There's the vent on the filler tube. The guy at the shop said "those things are ILLEGAL!!" I never heard of any A-Body blowing up from fumes in the trunk..

It's too small. No it's not like this new one it only has the outlet for the gasline..Why not just plug this one?

Hi everybody: I didn't pay much attention to it because it was suppose to be the right one but the 3/8 sending unit for my 69 Dart has a weird vent tube going into the main line. Should I just plug it?

All went much better when I took the shocks out and put them back in after..Thanks for the help :)

No I think the problem may be me. I measured the old tank and this one this one is 1/4 inch longer but big deal and the part number checks out so I'll take the shocks out and try again

Hi everybody: My shocks seem to be getting in the way of my new gas tank install. It's a Spectra tank so it should work. Do you have to take the shocks out or do you bend the seems on the tank and give it a bash or two?
