    What does it cost?

Great post Tony! I make a point of not doing the math, way too scary as you pointed out in great detail. Now make sure nobody's wife reads this post :D

    A little advice please

Someone smarter than me probably knows better but as far as I know an X frame twists that much more, not less. Not trying to be the thorn in your side as it may appear

    A little advice please

reliable - yes but expensive when things go wrong power - not out of a stock 5.9 cummins, I'd be lucky to outrun a yugo, unless it was uphill while towing :D mpg - is pretty good, certianly better than a big block like you said it's your money

    A little advice please

I have a 90 RAM with the Cummins and love it but why anyone would want to put it in a Galaxy is beyond me  But whatever floats your boat, you'll be the only one on the block with one that's for sure :D

    1970 Duster

Looks great!! Is that an original hood with scoop added or a glass hood? If it's a glass hood who made it and how good was the fit?

    70 Dart Custom

I haven't even looked and know that is not what I'm going to find under my carpet other than maybe the rats :-D So what's the plan Mike, are you going to do the whole deal, paint inside and out or just cleaning up the interior for now? By the way, it was good to see you on the weekend...

Project: "Daddy's Cool Cool Green Green Car" Build

Especially with the internet, don't know how I lived without it. Looks like you have your work cut out for you, just keep picking away and it'll get done eventually. I'm in the middle of a pretty big mess of a car build myself, non-mopar though so I have to do it in secrecy :evil4:

Project: "Daddy's Cool Cool Green Green Car" Build

Glad to see you joined this forum, I talked to you at the Autobody site the other day. :-D

    engine bay pictures

Yeah it's yours so whatever floats your boat. To me body color looks "right" on every car not just Mopars. I'm restoring a 65 Stang vert for my wife and painting the bay body color because it'll just look so much better. I can only assume cars that came flat black were for a cost cutting...

Thanks to all who helped .... done !

Very, very nice but I have no idea how you could put all that work into it and then turn around and sell it right away :dontknow:

    Please remove my thread

That's a good suggestion, I do all my own work and have a great appreciation of how much work and expense there is to it. I don't even bat an eye if someone says it's a 10K paint job, if you want it perfect you have to put a lot more work into it than you would ever imagine. If you're overly...

The car is probably better than you think, you're probably like me and notice every little imperfection, most people won't. Enjoy it, enjoy life, cheers :drinkers:

Couple cool pics of my Demon

I would have thought you would need a split shaft, all the better if you don't. As much as I'm really looking forward to seeing this finished I'm really lovin watching the build step by step, very cool.

Couple cool pics of my Demon

Very inspirational. I'm somewhat surprised that you don't have clearance issues between the engine and steering shaft

Couple cool pics of my Demon

Thanks, you won't be getting any criticism from me, just admiration  I'm going to try very hard to get that kind of stance for my Duster without going over the top with fabrication. The paddle shifter is an appealing idea for one of my other projects that has modern running gear. I'm...

Couple cool pics of my Demon

Two question, actually more like a hundred but I'll stick to two for now  What did you have to do to mate a GM trans to a Mopar motor? What are you using as a paddle shifter set up? I love this car but as mentioned before totally out of my league in every way, I'll aim for the poor man's...

Couple cool pics of my Demon

I would LOVE to do that to my Duster but it is so way beyond my skill set I want to puke :sad5: I can't wait to see that completed!

Love it!! What all have you done to it to get the stance like that? Details man, I need details :-D
