    No spark??

Did you have any spark at the coil before you changed the points and condensor? Weird thing is it had spark a couple weeks ago, I was trying to chase down other problems now I'm going backwards :angry7:

    No spark??

Thanks for the reply Terry. Well I know there's no spark at the plugs and there isn't any coming from the coil either so I was guessing it's either the coil or the coil pickup in the distributor? Pardon my ignorance, what and where is the ballast resistor?

    No spark??

I've been playing around with the Duster trying to get it running again, had it running a couple weeks ago, like crap mind you, but running none the less. Picked up another cap and roter and couldn't start it, checked the spark and nothing? Anyone have any thoughts on this, coil crapped out...

i wanna know more bout slant sixes

I don't know what year your Jeep is, I had a 1980 CJ and have a 2002 TJ (Wrangler) now, they aren't very good on gas because they are very heavy particularly the older ones I think. Full boxed frame, front diff and transfer case adds a lot of weight and they typically have tall gears. The inline...

    Value of Slant Six Car

I totally agree with Dave, it's the 4 door part that drags it down not the /6. Somebody said they get pissed with people parting out perfectly good running cars, rest assured, mine may be running but it's far from perfectly good, it's one grumpy cop away from a full inspection notice at which...

    Value of Slant Six Car

It can be worth more parting it out depending on the condition, the one I have has bucket seats, good rear bumper, perfect front bumper, grill, hood, trunk, good motor and trans. All of that is interchangable with the 2 door models. Just depends if anyone in your area is looking. It costs about...

    Value of Slant Six Car

I just recently bought a 1975, 4 door Dart, /6, runs fine, decent body with not much rust, for $400 Cdn. I only wanted it for the front disc brakes for my Duster, the rest I'm parting out but it gives you some idea, they're not worth a lot.
