simply add a jumper wire to the tail light circuit at the switch. this will work w/no problem

you may need to close down the pick-up coil to reluctor air gap. I know .008 is the spec w/a non metalic feeler gauge, but you may "cheat" some as long as the two do not touch! sometimes this helps out!

check your bulbs in the rear and the front. believe it or not, some times the 1156 bulb can be forced into the 1157 socket, when this happens, voltage/current will disrupt the circuit operations. inother words, when you apply the brakes, current/voltage will back feed all the way to the front...
