i nstall new water pump I feel the radiator up with antifreeze let warm up to 190 Shut it off and come check the next day check antifreeze and it really low. Whats wrong could it be a blown head gasket or what thw pump is not leaking or hoses already check them.

I got a 8 impeller ac water pump bolted it on and fit fine and went to pulleys on and the pulley are now of by 8th of a inch

How would it work with a 160 degree themrostat what would the temp of engine be

i no its not to hot but the water pump is going out should i get a stock one or a high flow one.

I have a 340 with a mild cam and stock radiotar it is a weekend crusier and i was wanted to no would a stock water pump be ok. I have one on it now with 160 theromstat and gets to 190 on a 90 degree day. What is the dirffeecen between a 8 imprellor or a 6 thanks
