No,the duster doesn't have the sedan frame around for the glass. Modifying as above sounds like a PITA *** and is a possibility of not working. If you get some free doors then all you will have is time in them.

The shock mounts are part of the frame and there is only about 6 spot welds in that area. I have seen people tie their out of the firewall,connect to it then proceed to the front of the frame rail.
