Look at those fire rings, then look at the combustion chamber shape. Those are not distorted.

FWIW I think if you do use lowering blocks a pinion snubber should be used to combat axle wrap. correct me if I'm wrong here but blocks will make axle wrap. so throw a snubber in there with the blocks and that will make everything work good and drop down to a nice height.:cheers:
