I am installing a new TQ at the same time as my 340. How much Trans fluid does this thing need before i install it? And do I even have to add trans fluid? Makes sense that I do. Also..since the 340 is internally balanced...and the harmonic balancer is neutral balanced..should I assume the TQ...

If you are shortening the driveshaft because you are swapping out the engine and third member to, lets say a 340/360 and an 8-3/4 you should have a new one built. Just finished off the swap of the 7-1/4 to a 8-3/4, Mopar SS leafs and a new driveshaft. What is the preferred gear oil for the differential with Richmond gears and sure grip? I would like to use a synthetic with the sure grip additive already in it. Thanks, Doug
