    Anyone bored a stock 340 block .060 over?

    My 340 is bored .60 over and no problems ..... other than it's hard to keep cool and I've heard that it might be of it "being .60 over". Didn't do the sonic test but - mine's not for the track just tearing up the neighborhood ;-)

    90 Degree Oil Filter Adapter?

    Tried to upload a pic of what I ran into with my 340..... didn't work. I have stock HP manifolds and it was in the way. Maybe they are not the correct year. But, anyway, put it together and you will know right away if you need a 90 degree oil filter adaptor. If you can get by w/o that is better...

    Thanks Demon 408..... does the diagram take into consideration when I trun the distributor to advance or retard(?) the timing. I can look tomorrow but I wonder of there is a mark on the cap for #1..... of couse, that would be way.... to easy.
