    Does anyone remember these?

Minus the flowers, we also used this to fill from the bulk 55 gallon drums.

    Does anyone remember these?

Yep, punched a lot of those cardboard cans, working at an Atlantic service station as a teenager. I also remember, if you weren't careful, you could cave in the side of the can and make a mess.

    New Chinese impact

"Back in the day," I worked at a service station that did a huge tire business and tune ups etc. We had IR impact wrenches and they ran pretty much all day long. When they would start to get weak, there were a couple of guys who always hung out there who worked at the local IR. (They were one of...

Now you've got me thinking, I have an extra 30# propane tank, hmmm... maybe I can turn that into a portable air tank?

    Light Air Tank

Nice, how many tires could you air up on one tank? I am curious, because I have a trailer that is stored in a remote spot and two of the tires are flat. I was thinking about just such a tank.

Craftsman Tools "proudly made in china"

I have a boat load of older (many very old) Craftsman tools, and I am sad to see what is happening. I grew up on my Dad's craftsman tools. He and my grandfather were both huge "Sears and Roebucks" guys. "Times, they are a changin"

I have no complaints with mine. Just thought some are looking for an economical solution. No sweat.

BB Engine Cradle at a great price

Here is an engine cradle I found online that looks identical to one I bought on fleabay several years ago. Pukey color, mine is Mopar turquoise (or very close) but the price is excellent. Mine works great, but if memory serves me, I had to drill an extra hole in one of the verticle plates in the...

    Walking away??

I lost a hammer once, and gave the kids a good dressing down for losing it. Had to go out and buy another one. About a year later, I found the one that was lost, right in the place where I had hidden it, so the kids couldn't find it and lose it.:wack:

Harbor Freight - Gems and Junk

:coffee2:?? Made in the USA, or Assembled in the USA? :wack:Just sayin... I would love to always buy American, but it's not possible, and not financially feasible for me. 1. Hobart 135 Handler welder (when they still sold them) Got a killer price on it with a coupon and love it. 2. 36" Sheet...

Fewer craftsman tools made in us as of 6/13?

Didn't really mean to bash HF, but rather cheap junk from China. I have some good stuff from HF and from China too. But have had my share of junk (made in China). I agree that HF can be a great source, you just have to shop with your eyes wide open. Got my Hobart Mig from HF at a super price a...

Fewer craftsman tools made in us as of 6/13?

Great idea, I need to go through mine and see what I need to get replaced. I did that with a few a while back, but probably wouldn't hurt to do another check. It is sad. When I first discovered Harbor Freight a few years ago, bought some hand tools, what junk they turned out to be (from China)...

Fewer craftsman tools made in us as of 6/13?

It looks like even fewer Craftsman Tools will be made in the U.S. after June of this year. This plant is closing and the story says operations will be moved to Texas and China. Does that mean warehoused in Texas and made in China? Here's the link anyway...

    Welder good deal or not

I have a Hobart Handler 135 which I got at Harbor Freight a few years ago. I had a coupon from their website and got a screamin deal on it. It was set up for gas and I think I paid around $415 for it plus tax. I really like it. I did have to get the tank of course but everything else was...
