For normal street use - no issues. Heavy drag or slicks- not long. 400hp has been the “typical” top end. Lighter than the 8-3/4 and a lot cheaper.

IMHO- engine bay is body color. Engine is red. I have a Chrysler blue engine in my 66 Barracuda and I really don’t like it. It’s coming out this winter for proper red color.
