What pulleys for 72 sm. bk. with a/c, power steering, alum. pump?

Trying to make it stock, just rebuilt the compressor, located the factory hoses, hard lines , new dryer and restored the a/c box under the dash. I started with nothing in the engine compartment. So I assume I will need a 3 belt setup?

What pulleys for 72 sm. bk. with a/c, power steering, alum. pump?

Putting together a 340 with a/c and power steering. From looking at some past threads, I believe I have a mismatch of the wrong pulleys. I have a 2-grove alt., a 2-grove crank, and a alum. water pump 1-grove pulley that maybe non-a/c. I think I need a 3-grove crank pulley because of a/c and...

Date question on 2 a/c boxes

The 2-piece A/C boxes I have are for 67-72 A bodies. The dash controls may be different for some years, I believe. Others here may help you with that. Start a thread in the A/C & heater section, a lot of knowledgeable people on FABO. Good luck

    V-2 compressor question

Thanks Jim, I did find a new (old) kit in a sealed plastic bag. Classic does have the oil pan and head gaskets for $35 but hopefully the kit I bought is good. Got it for $25 shipped. I’ll use a degreaser, seal it up after soaking the gasket in oil and should be good to go. I’ve learned a lot...

    V-2 compressor question

Guess I'll try to blow it out with an air compressor tomorrow, hopefully won't lose it.

    V-2 compressor question

Got this RV-2 compressor for my Demon. Thought it was a V-2 but has the 2 pistons and double pully, I'm learning. It has good compression and looks great inside but I pulled the oil pan to not only see inside but check the ball for roundness so it pumps OK. I pulled the spring out but can’t get...

Date question on 2 a/c boxes

Thanks, townsend, now I have two 72 a/c boxes and one 72 non a/c box I don't need. All I wanted was the underhood stuff from a local guy and he gave me every a/c part he had. Could't say no.

Date question on 2 a/c boxes

Hey members, I have 2 boxes (looks like the 2 piece 67-72 a/c, boxes) and the dates seem to be 10/7/65 and 5/15/66. I bought a A/C parts lot from a local guy who bought them not knowing what they were either. I'm using the 10,000 day calendar but must be doing something wrong, makes no sense to...

    A/C controls in non-A/C bezel

Eric, your bezel didn't make it in one piece

    A/C controls in non-A/C bezel

This is a factory A/C car but it was a plain Jane metal dash and I'm wanting a deluxe wood grain one. They are the same size, it's an optical illusion.

    A/C controls in non-A/C bezel

I just wanted to know if anyone has done this? My bezel is real nice from a 72 Demon. Do you have a photo of your piece? Thanks 72demon96

    A/C controls in non-A/C bezel

Hello, before I attempt to cut out this non-A/C plastic bezel to use for a factory A/C control install, I thought I’d ask members first. It looks like it would work. Just don’t want to mess up a good bezel. Thanks to all

Planning to restore factory AC one day

I've got a 69 Chevelle A/C car and have been running without a compressor for years. It has a three groove pulley on the crank, it shouldn't matter.
