    DIY Rotor Turning??

    The wheel bearings have no real effect on the on car brake lathe. The spindle bearings in the lathe hold the cutters true to the flange. You bolt on to the wheel studs and the machine is trued to the hub. On car lathe compensates for a warped hub flange.

    If the brake booster was dragging the brakes they would heat up and start to shake. Have seen it before with just one sticking caliper causing a lot of vibration.

    I have the 11.75 rotors with tall brackets on my dart using the original 73 slider type calipers. There's not alot of pad choices EBC makes 3 compounds and there's regular parts store grade pads and that's it.

    Does it have rear drum brakes? Wheel cylinders will sometimes suck air in past the seals when the pedal is released.

    Only enough for one good stop. 73 Duster

    Stock engine should be 20 inches of vacuum if it is in good shape. My stock 340 only had 15" of vacuum but it need some work. The bigger the cam is the lower the vacuum will be at idle.
