I think I have 68 or 69 side glass. Is all side glass non interchangeable or only the door including wind wing? Can I use the quarter glass that I have or do I need to try to find the whole works?

I have replaced my windwing and door glass. I was from a 68 or 69 Baracuda. It doesn't want to fit. The windwind frmae wants to hit the door frame and the door glass interferes with the quarter glass. I thought that I had read somewhere that the 3 years are not interchangeable. Does any one know...

The best way is to have a plater put it in the prep tank and remove the chrome down to the base metal. I believe that is copper. Have it powder coated if you want it to last and look good. Otherwise just just sand the crap out of it and use a self etching paint. Mine we done 6 years ago

I bought mine with the chrome blacked out. For your car the issue is punching out the center nylon plugs that hold the little trim holders to the side. When I found out how much it would cost to chrome, I powder coated and with the new color scheme, I have had nothing but compliments

I can't say for sure but, they look the same. I thought the only difference is in the center grill.

Make sure that they use base/clear primer. Regular laquer primer will ruin the pain job.
