Goldfish65, What color an/or color code is your car. My 64 has been painted a couple of times but the engine compartment appears to be the same color as your car. I would like to go back to the stock color but the fender tag is not readable. Thanks

Yes, the factory axle is a 7 1/4. I was on the Moser sight pricing out an 8 3/4 replacement. The price of a Dana 60 from Strange or Moser is about the same price of the 8 3/4. I am going to put a mild 408 stroker in the car and will not need the added strength of a Dana...but if they are...

Rats. NAPA did not have anything back to 1964. I bought one for a 1967 A body. The bolt is about 1/2 inch too long and the bolt shank is flattened across the entire length of the bolt. The factory bolt is not like this. I had no luck at the local pick n pull for a used one. cudamark...

I pulled the upper a arm eccentric bolts on my v8 64 barracuda. I found one had a groove worn in it. I need to replace it. Are these bolts specific to v8 cars, early a bodies, or can I go to the junk yard and get one from any year a body regardless if v8 or /6? Thanks.
