What do you think the best power/drivability combo is?

I plan to keep semi hiway gearing and as they stand, some of the Cherokee rear ends come with 3:55 gears. I will need to cut about 50 pounds of brackets and crap off and then put my perches on it. Since I run that A500 trans I should be fine in the top end. Not ever planning on hard launches...

What do you think the best power/drivability combo is?

Just kind of toying with the idea at the time, but I have other things I want to do first. I need to get my 8.25 locker with disc brakes and maybe a triple pass 2-one inch core tubes radiator first, and then I'll need something else to do.:D Very likely add AC as well. If I end up doing it, it...

What do you think the best power/drivability combo is?

That's the way I see it. Any thoughts on what this does to freeway fuel economy?

What do you think the best power/drivability combo is?

It seems to me injection and turbo charging is probably the best combo for decent horse power vs reliability. I'm talking 5-600 HP bursts with multi hundred mile freeway jaunts. Sound familiar?

    Paxton on a 408?

Short answer, of course you can safely run it without blowing the motor as that is what they were made for. You might not like it much on longer trips, but there is not one reason it should damage the the motor unless you over boost, or don't have a good handle on your ignition timing and ring...

Blow through with vacuum secondary Holley Carb.

Not disagreeing with you at all because I don't know for sure, but that just doesn't make sense to me. Wait a dang minute, this is why those boost kits with the entire carb inside a pressurized box works, correct?

Blow through with vacuum secondary Holley Carb.

Seems to me on boost there wouldn't be any vacuum to open the secondaries.

360 magnum. Safe boost rumours. True or false?

I saw a Hotrod magazine article online about that awhile back. Try searching for "Hotrod magazine 5.9 magnum boost" and you might find it. The only thing I really noticed was where they said they ran multiple races with 15 lbs and also with a 200 shot of NOS, but not at the same time of...

    ignition assistance

If you are not going to be using an EFI system with built in timing retard functions you might be best off to look at that E curve a bit closer. You are going to need those capabilities with boost, and the E curve along with a good coil should set you up pretty well. Just an opinion.

Need a wideband... and a gauge pod.

Thank you. No I didn't make a build thread, just documented most of what has been done with pictures and post a couple here and there when the subject applies.

Need a wideband... and a gauge pod.

Hand made by me with ordered carbon fiber and motorhome molding trim cut down the center and used for edge trim. It has .030 steel under the carbon fiber for support and 3m double backed sticky between them. One of one. :D Just like my speedometer.

Need a wideband... and a gauge pod.

Yes it data logs also. It comes with a serial port data loging cable and the pigtail on the gauge for it. A laptop with a serial port would be perfect for it. Then when you realize serial ports on laptops are rare these days, keep in mind that there are adapter cables to go from USB ports to a...

Need a wideband... and a gauge pod.

That gauge is the exact one I have and it works perfect, as well as having diagnostic codes for low voltage and a few other things. (I really like mine) Been running it full time in the car for 2 years now without one issue. As far a gauge pods, I have looked around quite a bit when doing my...

    Belt tension

Pretty sure you are asking about what the tension should be on pretty much any belt, and it is a half inch deflection at the center between two pully's.
