68 Barracuda with 74 small block mopar should be no problem!! Now you need a 70's 340 driver's manifold.

Never tried it on a '74 but it work just fine as long as it's not a early A body. I plug the small gas ports below the exhaust ports.

I have found that the magnum port matches the 340 exhaust manifold. The 96/97/98 318/360 Jeep Grand Cherokee exhaust ports are the same as the 340 exhaust ports.....no difference. The only smaller exhaust ports are the early 273/318 engine heads. treblig

Steel on cast shouldn't be a problem....drag racers have been doing it for decades. I would use the EQ gaskets and the 340/magnum gasket on the respective surfaces....but that's just me. Silicone will give you a little more clearance, but you may not need the extra clearance???????

I've never tried to install 340/magnum manifolds on EQ heads but an adapter should work if it doesn't push the manifold too far out away from the engine causing interference????

The 96/97/98 jeep grand Cherokee V8 passenger side manifold will fit real nice and give you flow that is close to the 340 HP manifolds. On the driver's side use the 70s 340 driver, it will fit with P/S or anything else you might have on your engine.

One thing you might consider.....96/97/98 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 engines came with the large hole 2 1/16" exhaust manifolds. The starter is on the passenger's side on these engines, don't know about the Durango engines?? treblig

The bell flare is something that was only made by the factory (they made the dies). Although you might be able to buy some properly bell flared pipes from an aftermarket "on line" company like Summit (but I'm not sure and they won't be cheap). I have 2 sections of properly "bell" flared down...

There are 2 sizes of Magnum manifolds. If you have the larger ones (2 1/8" outlet) I sell the bell flared connection that goes against the manifold. If you have the smaller outlet you should be able to get the local muffler shop to form the flared fitting but it probably won't be bell flared...

I know that a '69 318 has smaller exhaust ports than a late 70s or early 80s motor. I don't think that magnum or non-magnum is a factor. I think Mopar changed the exhaust port design before the magnum engine went into production?? treblig

If you mean the 1 7/8" outlet manifolds, I do believe they sell them new. But why would you buy a new one when you can get a seasoned one from a salvage yard?? I prefer a seasoned manifold over a new one because a manifold that's been tested over thousands of miles is less likely to crack...
