If they don't make a shorter mount you could easily add some metal to the trans mount brace and move the large mounting holes to a better position allowing you to lower the whole brace. Of course this will change the pinion angle but so will the shorter mount!!

It's not that hard if you have the exhaust manifold installed in the car and the car on a lift. Then it's easy to piece it together and make sure it clears all the other things around the engine on the driver's side before the final "bolt in". You tack everything in place then take it out and...

Make sure to install the flange before welding the parts together because there's no way to get it on there after welding!! Once you install this down pipe section on the car you know how much to trim and at what angle to cut the donut so that it clears everything under the car...

318 "302" heads have the larger ports. I put a set on my '69 318 and the ports fit the 360 gaskets exactly. My Mopar book also states that the 302 heads come with the larger ports.

You know many FABO members have loosened the steering shaft where it attaches to the firewall and managed to skoot (technical term) it over just enough to clear the manifold. Might also help to loosen the steering column a little to make it easier??

That's what I remember, 92 and maybe 93 (Dakota). The only other large hole manifolds are in the 96/97/98 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 motors. My point is that the large hole manifolds take up more space than the smaller hole ones so they aren't going to fit as easily as the ones in Krazymofugger's...

Now, just for the record.....are those the smaller hole manifolds, at least that's what they look like??? If I knew the casting number I would know for sure. If they are the large hole manifolds you have a great combination there!!!
