Hey Loic- glad to see you had a Plymouth and not a Simca when you said a Mopar owner in France:cheers:. Spent some time growing up in various spots in Europe, dad was in the military...when I was little I loved some of the French styled cars- the Citreon SM, the Alpine310, R5 turbos, Matra Simca...

    Musclecar guy from the 70s

Rick, I just picked up a 340 LB (9/22/67 casting date) complete and definitely rebuildable for $350. Worse case scenario, find a good body and make yourself a 'clone,' 'tribute,' or 'it's my car and I want it this way' hot rod.

    New Valiant owner in SoCal

Vanessa- 1bbl's are pretty common. Better is the "Super Six" set up; it's a 2bbl...be sure to get the exhaust manifold and kick down as well. Not sure how you'd swap it onto the old bellcrank throttle set up on your rig if it is still there (imagine it's not since it has a 4bbl on it now).

    A little different a body!!??

Joe Riv- I own all 3 American maker's products...they all made impressive stuff and they all made turds. I don't have a classic GM, but my fairly modified '99 Regal GS is a very well rounded performer (in '99 there wasn't any domestic RWD sedans, and the GS was 'bang for the buck' champ; not to...

    Hello from California!

Welcome, and I believe the trim you speak of is referred to as a "Candy cane" moulding. Wraps around the headlight, yes? Somebody was re-popping these awhile back, just in case you strike out and somebody having a used one hanging around (highly unlikely, though- most of us could star in an...
