'65 Valiant Convertible: Mostly ignored for over 20 years

Nice work, and I like how you take pictures and document everything. I don’t think the 8 1/4 and looks too wide or infect any wider. It looks like it belongs there and I wish I would have kept more B Body 8 1/4 rear ends rather than sending them to the scrapyard

'65 Valiant Convertible: Mostly ignored for over 20 years

Sounds like a similar agreement that I had with a local Florida member here. I am glad that he put some things in writing, but after he had had my car for two and a half years, very little has been done to it, although many parts are missing off of my parts cars that I provided. For one car, the...

My other Early A ---65 Dart post

I know of a 66 Dart wagon over at Curtis’s house in Floral, City that is dying for a two door conversion. Slant six auto car with frame connectors, but no interior.

My other Early A ---65 Dart post

Nice score and a good parts car! I see it’s got bucket seats, dual reservoir master cylinder and sport wheel, even if twisted. I’d straighten it and use it.

My other Early A ---65 Dart post

There’s a lot of good parts left on the car: hood doors trunk lock, trunk lid, bumper core, tail lights, and who knows what interior parts. What engine is in the car? Is it a V-8 automatic? I am looking for an automatic cable shift transmission. If the floor is solid in the car and the frame is...

65 DART WAGON 2 DOOR CONVERSION

sorry to hear about your daughter being ill and I really hope she gets better and I hope you get back in the mood to work on the car. I was looking at the work you did on it and makes me feel like I need to get on my wagon, but I’m giving it to somebody else to work on for now, but nothing is...

65 DART WAGON 2 DOOR CONVERSION

So whatever happened to this wagon conversion? Did it ever get finished or is it still on the back burner?

My other Early A ---65 Dart post

It doesn't look all that Rusty. Can you poke a screwdriver through the frame anywhere? Maybe it's just surface rust. I was thinking two door conversion project there. ;-) By the way I do have a good cowl area on a 64 Dart, but it's up north in PA.

    1966 Dodge Dart

Very nice looking. I bet you it was a joy to findly drive it. Forgive me for not reading all the pages of your article, but the right rear of your car is higher than the left. Do you have super stock Springs under it? Also as far as the heat, I've had good luck with Lifting the back of the hood...

My other Early A ---65 Dart post

I like it Tim. I like the post cars and I like the front end of the 66 more than I do the 65. I think I may have a spare 66 Dodge Dart left front fender

    65 Valiant convertible "IT'S ALIVE!!!"

For me, customizing almost everything (the dash, console, seats, black under hood, painted brightwork, missing bumpers, 64 grille) all take away from the value of the car. You would have to find someone who values your modifications as much as you do. I don't wish to insult you with what I would...

1965 Dart Wagon - A day in the life

I got both worlds. Its a 66 Dart wagon with a 65 Valiant front clip and dash.

    Project Bareacuda

I noticed that the grill was like the American 65 Dodge Dart, but they must have made the Canadian models of the Barracuda that way. Also, I do like the hood scoop. I'm so glad that you are not keeping the black under the hood. I absolutely hate that. Looks like a good starting point, just keep...

Bringing back a 66 Valiant to daily Driver status

Might you have an extra deck lid and back window left over when done?

    Fireside Valiant chat

I am glad that you are enjoying the lenses. I had been sitting on them 4 about 16 years since my first Valiant wagon build that got sold before got finished. Good to see that you got them and really like them. Perhaps I'm old-fashioned but I don't trust a lot of this online Commerce stuff...

My 1965 Valiant wagon street/strip project

I was just wondering how your 65 Valiant wagon project is coming along. Is it on the street yet?

    65 Valiant 4 Door

Nice looking. I do like the choice of colors and especially the white top. I want to do a white top on my wagon when I get it painted but I'm sure what to do as far as the rest of the body. It was mostly a drab yellow from the factory. I just cant go all of that bodywork and painting myself...

I wish I had your metal skills. I could use the same kind of eork to the bottoms of my front gender dog legs.

1965 Dart Wagon - A day in the life

No one had written here for a bit, so I thought I might add my two cents. If anyone has an early A body wagon that is sitting and not getting used like it should, let me know. I am looking for a new toy. I prefer either a 65 Valiant or a 66 Dart but will consider others.

    My 12 pack 65 Cuda

Yeah. I'd like to read, hear, see about where the car is now, too. I have a 65 Valiant vert, but can't get into starting it. i may need some electrical help with it.

My other Early A ---65 Dart post

Hey Tim. Looking good. I sold my 65 Dart convertible and picked up a 65 Valiant convertible instead. I haven't done much with it because of the cold, but it needs intensive work. It is my 4th 65 Valiant. I have a 4 door, 2 Signets (one very rusty) and the vert. All need work. I also have a 65...

My other Early A ---65 Dart post

Your project looks good, Tim. I didn't know that you had a 65 Dart that you were working on. I still have the 65 Convertible that I got from Georgia, but have lost interest in it. I am more interested in the 65 Plymouths. I just haven't had the ambition to work on much lately. You are giving me...

    1963 Valiant V200 Wagon

Very cool car. I have one like it, same year and color but it is a V-100, in my garage. might have to post a pic on here as it has and still needs to go through some cosmetic changes. Rob

    1963 Valiant V200 Wagon

Nice looking car, and helper. Lucky you. It is more solid than my 63 wagon. You are moving fast on it. Wanna come to FL and work on mine? :) Good luck with it!
