Yes, it is the same K frame from 63 to 66. I have dropped slant sixes and V8 in 63 64 and 65 Valiant and Barracudas. I am not absolutely positively sure, but there may be a bit of a difference in the metal part of the mount in 63 then there is in the later years. I would check my 63 Valiant...

Has anyone done something that looks like it could have been from the factory instead of added on? I usually run a chain thru the K-frame.

Anyone know where I can buy the exhaust manifold bolts to put the intake and exhaust back on a slant in a Valiant that I bought without manifolds? The triangular shaped washers are where I am mostly stumped. Does anyone sell these? I have a junk engine nearby, butt no manifolds on it either.

The pistons are stuck in the bores. They are not coming out easily. Crank is out.

I got a 198 that apparently threw a rod that went thru the block. The 5 rods are presumably good, but they are stuck in the cylinders connected to the pistons. Any easy way of getting them out and is it worth saving 5 connectiong rods when everybody needs six? Since the block is broken, can I...

I had tried to order one also. It got cancelled. (sighs)

It sounds to me like the fuel pump is dying or the fuel filter is really clogged. Replace them as they are easy fixes. Gravity keeps the fuel back in the tank.

Did you ever find a home for the slant? I can come and get it and install it w/in the next few weeks into a 66 Plymouth. Thanks

My brother has a slant six 74 Duster that has disk brakes up front and an 8 1/4 in the rear. It is now a parts car, but the 8 1/4 is still there.
