I just did the eastwood hi temp clear and am not real impressed. At first it looked beautiful over the engine paint, then once the heat hit the engine it wrinkled real bad on the valve covers. I have them off now stripping them and starting over.

69 swinger with them and still have them on, even with fiberglass front bumper. I just picked up a 72 Demon and don't think they look all that good. ill probably remove them. 72 was standard equipment???

Well AAR who I think sold to Stinger fiberglass out of Florida is where I picked up a hinged 69 dart hood and a pinned on 68 valiant hood. Not sure if either is in business now, but the quality is very good. hopefully someone can chime in that knows that status of these two companies.

Old school is cool. For sure try and lower the rear of the scoop, but i agree it will be a challenge. Didnt some of the old pro stock cars actually have the scoop attached to the carbs and stayed with the engine when you removed the hood? That would really cut up the hood and may not be doable...

not sure A bodies are. B bodies have a stamp under the trunk seal on (if i remember correctly) the driver side. i have heard some cars may have a stamp on the interior, rear package tray area. I could not find any other stamps on my 69 swinger, other than the rad. support and dash
