    Lightweight lithium ion battery

^^^ The L series batteries from Lithium Pros, actually have these onboard computers in them as well. They protect from under or over voltage, and over/under charging. We run the L1600 in our car. Only $1600 with a charger. :)

    Lightweight lithium ion battery

I shouldnt say it on this site, but its a Ford Hemi motor. We run Top Sportsman with it. We have a 825" motor going together now actually. Should make another 100-150hp or so.

    Lightweight lithium ion battery

We use a Lithium Pros 16V light weight battery. Has an onboard computer to protect itself from over/under voltage. Turns our 816" motor over better than the previous 16V AGM batteries. Gets charged after each pass, but does run the fan/water pump and ignition. No problems yet...weighs in at 11...

    Curleysparts

Here's the other pic, if it helps you any. I don't care who aligned the car, if they don't understand thread engagement on a heim joint, maybe they shouldn't be messing with suspension parts. You told me you were trying to get 3* of caster, and had the heims threaded out so far because they were...

    Curleysparts

Do I need to waste my time pleading with you to send back the parts? I don't think so. Told you to send them back, you sent the above text message, and I waited for you to make up your mind on whether or not you'd send them to me. It's been a month, and I haven't heard from you. As I mentioned...

    Curleysparts

I promise I did not intend to cause an uproar. I have said my part, and that is it. I offered to look at the parts, if they were returned...that was rejected, and I have since revoked the offer. You cant win 'em all right? I apologize for taking up bandwidthon the site, and I apologize to the...

    Curleysparts

Just for the record, as I happened to stumble upon this thread...I have been in contact with this customer, and asked him to send me the control arms back. I told him I could not do anything without seeing them in person. This would be the standard response for any aftermarket component company...

    Chassis cert question

I know my chassis cert guy fairly well. I asked him once, just out of my own curiosity, what he could or couldnt do about the welds. He read me word for word what his "duties" are. There was a simple list of like 3 things he was suppose to be looking for. An undercut weld was the most important...

    Chassis cert question

Shouldn't be able to. While they are not certifying the welds, they CAN fail a chassis because of under cut welds. The sanctioning body as well as SFI wouldn't be happy to know an inspector was doing this.

Looks awesome man! Good to see someone actually driving their car, instead of typing about it like most guys do. HAHA. Keep it up.

Rms street lynx vs. back half parallel 4 link

Guy in SoCal with a 70's camaro on leaf springs and small tire. Has a procharged big block in it and runs low 7's. It's doable...just takes more patience to get it to that point.

Rms street lynx vs. back half parallel 4 link

As mentioned, a triangulated 4-link is more designed for corners. Turbo car with decent power is bad enough...add to that a drag radial and you want all the adjustability you can get. A full back-half not be needed. Figure out what size tire you will run, and see if you can mini-tub the car...

    aluminum K frames

I like the idea Denny. Gotta watch for fatigue issues with the aluminum though. Im sure with some research, the correct material usage, and the right welding procedure, you could make it work. Id estimate the weight different to be 10 lbs or less versus a round tube unit. Keep us posted Denny. :)

    for the corner carvers! RTTS

I figured you had to be a member on some forum...didnt realize it was you. I watched it on BangShift. You did real well. It looked like it came down to who could get to the first corner first...that initial straight away takes horsepower to beat the other guy. Congrats on doing well!

    **Pro Street Ladder Bars???**

The uppers are under tension, while the lowers are under compression...remember the rearend housing is trying to rotate. The upper mounts will be fine if the inner frame rails are plated properly. LOTS of fast cars doing it this way. It is definitely a good idea to tie your cage into that upper...

    **Pro Street Ladder Bars???**

Im wondering the same thing...how good of coilovers are you using? Double adjustables??? And as mentioned, get rid of any movement you can think may be happening between the housing and the chassis...movement makes things unpredictable because you can never figure out what is moving and possibly...

    **Pro Street Ladder Bars???**

Ladder bars act as a massive anti roll bar...not allowing articulation of the rearend housing. The bushings help some, but I still don't think it's the best idea. If you seldom drive the car, sure. If you drive quite a bit, look into building a 4 link setup that is real short in the front. Hell...

    New front end

The usual FABO hating has already begun. K-member looks great man...nicer than most anything Ive seen on this site or other automotive sites. Triangulation would be great for stiffness yes, but Im fairly certain the factory stuff wasnt too resistant to flexing. On another note...any more...

    score of a lifetime..lol

i wont comment on whether its the right carb for the motor or not but will tell you custom built carbs are extremely expensive. Anything from Braswell, Book, Dale Cubic and a few others is big money but worth it when you're trying to go fast. Pro stock cars will drop $5-8000 for a pair of carbs...

    Best roll cage kits

I wont beat any of the big shops prices...that wasn't my intent. I try to provide a truly custom bent bar/cage for your application that fits tight to the body. On top of that, I use DOM tubing which is far superior to any HREW that the big companies use. Oh, and mine would be slightly lighter...

Thats actually the old plate off of our 600" motor. The mountain motor got a CNC machined, profiled plate. :) Nothing like a machined edge all the way around a plate.
