I have pulled the engine/trans together always over the many cars and decade. Just me. Radiator out of my way. I have never had a leveler but I have done many by myself with a 1000 hoist hooked to the rafter in the shed. Yes harder to do by yourself with trans attached, but it an be done.

I guess we are knit picking but I too, rather the exhaust blow clear from the bumper. Sometimes bumpers are new and shiny and costs $600 or so!!! I admit it is a lot better and body plugs are always a good thing!!

Like said, pipe should be a little longer and YOU do not need holes in the floor especially with the pipe where it is. I bet you paid the guy enough to have done it right!

There are even some high tech specialty rods and like said^^ pre heat and cool down, they even make a special blanket for such.

I bet VHT costs pennies on the dollar vs the other stuff mentioned. BY the way, factory painted them over spray with engine paint I believe. They weren't too particular!

That is the affordable way, but the AAR style places the muf. from under that "hot" seat!! I bet if someone does not want the heat, build a heat shield like as used above the cat convertors in the Malaise cars when those started!

Yes that is the TA style muf. A repop clamp holds it at the rear of mf. Good tips can be fond without paying the $ for repop TA tips!

Good local shop is wayyyyy cheaper. But many times they cannot mandrel bend, BUT unless you are high HP it is a moot deal anyway.

the X's jeep had the good convertor true. this muffler is going on a 79 super six Volare with a convertor that the case is good but the guts are gone! so it does little to quiet it down no doubt.

I suppose a dynamax straight thru bullet "race muffler" will make too MUCH noise!!????? you might be talking about the Dynamax Ultra flow??

it is listed as stock for the 6 cyl jeeps. X had one on jeep gran Cherokee, could not her it idle! maybe I need a straight thru like RR suggested.
