    sounds like a direct bolt in....only possible thing I can think of may be the nub on the torque converter won't fit in the end of the manual trans crank....not sure of sizes though on /6....

    Yes this is correct.....The screw shown in post #11 is an adjustment ....by tightening it, the spring steel that goes around the lower pivot post has more pressure on it making the vent window harder to open and close

    I used white lithium grease and pulled it off the back off the speedometer with the cluster out.....grab it with needle nose pliers and it pulls right out....lube it and slide it right back in....

    Looks great...nice work....it always amazes me how people can do really nice work on a low budget..... On the wife topic, I would have to agree I've always laughed at guys who say there wife cut the budget...Without my paycheck there would be nothing to budget in the first place..... Reminds...
